  Organizers of Youth Excellence Awards have recognized Classic Multimedia Institute to be one of the best media schools in the country as the school receives a nomination in this year's YEA Awards. Classic Multimedia Institute was nominated for the category of best practical media school alongside other media schools mainly situated in the capital city of Ghana. In an interview with the director of the school Prince Oheneba Duobo who seemed overwhelmed by the nomination, he stated, that the recognition has really boosted his ability to do more and achieve more. He also took the opportunity to thank the Almighty God and the Organizers of this prestigious Award scheme for the honor. The school which was established in 2017 with just 8 students can now boast of over a hundred students and about three dozen graduates who are currently working with various media houses. Classic multimedia institute is a media school which was established in the year 2017, the 17th day of October at Dome - market in Greater Accra the capital of Ghana. It started with 8 students and 2 teachers. It has it's director to be Prince Doudu, Popularly known as Oheneba Kofi Doudu. In the year 2019, the school relocated to lapaz new- market that's also in Greater Accra with 70students and 3 teachers. The school is now having it's 2nd graduation this November. After 3years of establishment the school has been nominated in the 2020 Youth Excellence Awards as the best practical media school of the year with many other different media schools.   The death of Mfantseman MP Hon.Ekow Quansah Hayford which sadly death occurred on October 2020 at Nkusukum on the Mankessim - Abeadze  Duadze road.
